Ford F-150 VIII gallery (1987–1991)

The eighth-generation F-150 introduced aerodynamic front styling, standard EFI engines, and Rear ABS from 1987 to 1991.

The eighth-generation Ford F-150 was produced from 1987 to 1991. Featuring a streamlined front end with flush headlights, rounded wheel arches, and a flat grille, the redesign cut aerodynamic drag. The interior was completely revamped with a redesigned dashboard and ergonomic controls. Rear-wheel ABS was introduced as standard equipment across all models.

By 1988, all gasoline engines (4.9L inline-six, 5.0L V8, 5.8L V8, and 7.5L V8) featured electronic fuel injection (EFI). A 7.3-liter International diesel V8 was offered on heavy-duty configurations. Transmission choices introduced a Mazda-sourced 5-speed manual (M5OD).
