Unveiled in Japan in December 2021, the ninth-generation Suzuki Alto (HA37S/HA97S series) returned to a softer, rounded profile with a 50 mm taller roofline for increased headroom. The redesigned cabin features updated dashboard graphics and standard Suzuki Safety Support active safety features including reverse autonomous emergency braking.
The base HA37S model utilizes a 660 cc R06A engine (49 hp), while the HA97S trim features the R06D three-cylinder engine paired with an SHVS mild-hybrid system. All models standardly feature a CVT automatic transmission with choices of front-wheel drive or 4WD.
