Launching in November 1994, the fourth-generation Suzuki Alto (HA11S/HB11S chassis series) featured a completely re-engineered unibody with improved crash safety compliance and smoother styling lines. Available as a 3-door or 5-door hatchback, the performance Alto Works variant stood out with aggressive twin circular fog lights integrated into the front bumper assembly.
Engine offerings comprised the 657 cc F6A engine (52 to 64 hp) and the lightweight all-aluminum 657 cc K6A DOHC 16-valve turbocharged engine (64 hp). Transmission choices spanned a 5-speed manual, 3-speed or 4-speed automatics, and optional all-wheel drive.
