Unveiled in February 2017, the sixth-generation Suzuki Wagon R (MH35S/MH55S chassis series) transitioned to Suzuki's ultra-lightweight HEARTECT platform. The model offered three front-end styling treatments: standard FA/FX, split-headlamp FZ, and the aggressive Stingray performance series. Interior innovations included a head-up display (HUD) and built-in umbrella storage slits with drainage in the rear doors.
Engines include the R06A and revised R06D 660 cc three-cylinder units with Dual Injection technology paired with SHVS mild-hybrid systems and CVT automatics, available in FWD and 4WD. The lineup added the Custom Z trim line in 2022.
