The sixth-generation Hyundai Avante (AD chassis) debuted in September 2015 with a refined hexagonal front grille and a high-rigidity chassis integrating 53% advanced high-strength steel. Engine choices included 1.6-liter GDI/MPI, 2.0-liter Nu, 1.6 T-GDI (204 hp in Avante Sport), and a 1.6-liter e-VGT turbodiesel.
A 2018 facelift redesigned the front fascia with sharp triangular LED lights and restyled tail lamp graphics.
