Next-Generation Hyundai Tucson Goes on Sale in South Korea Starting at 31.4 Million Won
Hyundai has officially announced the pricing for the next-generation Tucson crossover in its home market of South Korea and opened order books for the vehicle. Compared to its predecessor, the model has become approximately 10.4% more expensive: the starting price increased by 2.96 million won (about 183,000 rubles at the exchange rate on October 22) and now starts at 31.4 million won (about 1.94 million rubles).
Buyers are offered the new model in four trim levels: H-Pick, Exclusive, Inspiration, as well as the XRT version, which features special off-road styling. The engine lineup includes a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and a hybrid powertrain based on the same unit. Prices for the pure gasoline versions range from 31.4 million to 36.8 million won (from 1.94 million to 2.27 million rubles). Hybrid versions gained 2.97 million won (about 183,000 rubles) in price — they are priced from 36.15 million to 41.65 million won (from 2.23 million to 2.57 million rubles).
Standard equipment on the new Hyundai Tucson already includes a surround-view monitor, front and rear parking collision-avoidance assist, as well as an upgraded infotainment system with updated software and a navigation system with a 12.9-inch screen.
The premiere of the current-generation Hyundai Tucson took place in August 2026. The vehicle radically changed its image: instead of the previous smooth body contours, the crossover received strict angular shapes in line with current automotive design trends. The smaller next-generation Hyundai Bayon crossover, which debuted at the Paris Motor Show, was recently styled in a similar manner.
