Launching in July 1969, the fourth-generation Suzuki Carry (L40 series) featured avant-garde cab-over styling penned by Giorgetto Giugiaro's Italdesign. Offered as a pickup and microvan (L40V), it introduced liquid cooling for the two-stroke engine.
The 359 cc liquid-cooled two-stroke engine delivered 25 hp, paired with a 4-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels.
