Debuting in March 1985, the eighth-generation Suzuki Carry (DA71T series) updated cab-over styling and added supercharged options.
1990 updates lengthened the body by 100 mm and upgraded engines to the 657 cc F6A 12-valve three-cylinder unit (up to 58 hp).
