Introduced in June 1965, the second-generation Suzuki Carry (L20 series) updated the bonneted pickup design with a redesigned ladder frame. In 1966, Suzuki expanded the line with the Carry Van (L20V), adding a full-metal enclosed body with side doors.
The L20 retained the 359 cc air-cooled FB two-stroke twin engine (21 hp) and 3-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels.
