The tenth-generation Honda Civic (FC/FK) premiered in September 2015, underpinned by a new global compact platform featuring a multi-link rear suspension and lower seating position. Body options included a fastback-style sedan, 5-door hatchback, and 2-door coupe. Exterior design adopted aggressive angular lines with a signature chrome grille wing.

Engine technology transitioned to VTEC Turbo powertrains: a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder (129 hp), a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder (174–205 hp in Si), alongside a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter (158 hp) and a 1.6-liter i-DTEC diesel (120 hp). The Honda Sensing safety suite became standard or widely available. A 2018 facelift added subtle exterior restyling and physical volume knobs to the infotainment system.
