The fourth generation Geely Emgrand sedan transitioned to the modular BMA architecture, gaining elegant exterior styling and advanced digital control technology for driver.
The fourth generation Geely Emgrand carrying the factory code SS11 debuted in 2021 as the first Emgrand model constructed on Geely's modular BMA platform. The vehicle featured a wider and lower stance with increased torsional rigidity, highlighted by a vertical slat front grille and a continuous rear LED light bar. Power was provided by a 1.5 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine producing between 114 and 127 horsepower, mated to either a five speed manual or an eight simulated speed CVT. A methanol plug-in hybrid version equipped with a 1.8 liter engine and dedicated DHT gearbox was also offered. The modern cabin was equipped with a 12.3 inch touchscreen, full digital instrument display, and the GKUI smart ecosystem. The model features optimized aerodynamic efficiency, high quality interior materials, and suppressed noise vibration levels at highway speeds. This generation achieved broad international presence in Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, serving also as the basis for the Proton S70.
