The third generation of the Geely Emgrand sedan launched in 2018, maintaining the FE-3 structural architecture while undergoing comprehensive cosmetic and interior revisions. The lineup shifted exclusively to a four door sedan layout as hatchback variants were discontinued. Exterior changes featured revised LED headlights, a bolder grille treatment, and reshaped lower valances. Under the hood, an updated 1.5 liter naturally aspirated four cylinder petrol engine generated 109 horsepower, coupled with either a five speed manual transmission or a CVT. The cabin benefited from an entirely new dashboard featuring a digital instrument cluster, a large touchscreen media unit, and premium soft touch materials. Standard and optional features included keyless entry, electronic parking brake, automatic climate control, and digital connectivity, maintaining the model's status as a top selling compact sedan in China.
