Geely Galaxy Cruiser 700 SUV amassed nearly 44,000 pre-orders within an hour
The new Geely Galaxy Cruiser 700 hybrid SUV has generated high interest among buyers: in just the first hour after pre-orders opened, the manufacturer recorded more than 43.9 thousand applications. At the same time, the first 10 thousand pre-orders were received in just 9 minutes from the start of sales. The vehicle became the debut SUV in the Galaxy brand lineup. In China, buyers were offered six different trim levels priced from 199.8 thousand to 389.8 thousand yuan, which is equivalent to approximately 2.5–4.9 million rubles at the exchange rate as of September 16, 2026.
The model's powertrain is built on a hybrid setup based on a 1.5- or 2.0-liter gasoline internal combustion engine and electric motors. Peak combined output of the units reaches 1,113 hp, and wheel torque is 13,920 Nm. Acceleration from a standstill to 100 km/h takes 3.95 seconds. Exclusively on electric power, the vehicle can travel up to 305 km on the CLTC cycle, and the total cruising range exceeds 1,200 km without additional refueling and recharging.
The technical equipment of the Galaxy Cruiser 700 includes an artificial intelligence digital chassis and 17 driving modes. Among them are a rear differential lock, "Crab Walk", and "Waltz Turn", in which the car turns around a single wheel, reducing the turning radius to 3.36 meters. The SUV is also capable of overcoming water obstacles more than 800 mm deep and fording for up to 40 minutes.
The vehicle's interior is equipped with a multimedia system with five screens. The equipment list also includes a built-in 18.5-liter refrigerator with two temperature modes and front seats with 14-point massage.
