The fourth generation Toyota Harrier (XU80 series) made its premiere in April 2020. Constructed on Toyota's modular TNGA-K architecture, the vehicle features a low center of gravity and a high-rigidity bodyshell. The exterior adopts a coupe-crossover profile featuring an elongated hood line, sharp LED projector headlamps, and a full-width LED rear light bar. The interior debuted electrochromic Star Gaze panoramic glass with switchable transparency, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display, a color head-up display, and a digital rearview mirror with front and rear recording capability.
Powertrains feature a 2.0-liter M20A-FKS Dynamic Force four-cylinder (171 hp) paired with a Direct Shift-CVT, alongside Toyota Hybrid System II linking a 2.5-liter A25A-FXS engine with electric drive for 218 hp (FWD) or 222 hp (E-Four AWD). In 2022, Toyota launched the Harrier PHEV plug-in hybrid delivering 306 total horsepower. The vehicle features double-wishbone rear suspension and the comprehensive Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 suite.
