The fourth-generation Hyundai Santa Fe (TM) was produced from 2018 to 2023, debuting composite light architecture and mid-life N3 platform migration.
The fourth-generation Hyundai Santa Fe (TM platform) debuted in South Korea in February 2018. The exterior showcased Hyundai's signature composite lighting design, placing slim LED daytime running lights above stacked main headlamp units. Inside, it offered dual digital displays and an available Krell sound system.
A unprecedented 2020 mid-cycle upgrade shifted the TM chassis onto Hyundai's new N3 global platform. This allowed for the integration of Smartstream 2.5-liter MPI/GDI, 2.5-liter Turbo (281 hp), 2.2-liter Smartstream turbodiesels paired with an 8-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, alongside 1.6-liter T-GDI HEV and PHEV hybrid systems.
