The II (LX) generation of the Hyundai Grandeur was manufactured between 1992 and 1998. The second-generation Hyundai Grandeur (LX platform) launched in September 1992.
Built on shared architecture with the Mitsubishi Debonair III, the LX featured expanded passenger legroom and V6 engines ranging from 2.0L, 2.5L, 3.0L (205 hp) to a 3.5L V6 outputting 230 horsepower. Throughout its production run, the II (LX) established a strong reputation for powertrain efficiency, passenger comfort, and structural reliability.
