The VI (IG) generation of the Hyundai Grandeur was manufactured between 2016 and 2022. The sixth-generation Hyundai Grandeur (IG platform) debuted in November 2016.
A major 2019 facelift extended the wheelbase by 40 mm and introduced an iconic Parametric Jewel front grille with integrated illuminated diamond LED elements and Smartstream 2.5L / 3.5L V6 engines. Throughout its production run, the VI (IG) established a strong reputation for powertrain efficiency, passenger comfort, and structural reliability.
