Geely Okavango II gallery (2023–present)
The second generation of the Geely Okavango crossover, updated as Haoyue L, gained a powerful two-liter Volvo-derived turbo engine, new architecture, and an upgraded interior.
The second-generation Geely Okavango, unveiled domestically as the Haoyue L in late 2022 and expanded to international markets in 2023, represents a comprehensive engineering overhaul. The crossover grew in physical dimensions, introducing a massive waterfall grille with vertical chrome slats and unified rear LED lightbars. Underneath, the vehicle utilizes a revised platform featuring independent rear multi-link suspension for improved ride comfort and stability. Motivation comes from a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder Drive-E gasoline engine producing 218 horsepower, coupled with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission sending power exclusively to the front wheels. The cabin offers refined six- or seven-passenger seating options wrapped in premium leatherette, dominated by a 14.6-inch touchscreen running advanced operating software. Technical highlights include Level 2 driving assistance features, a 540-degree panoramic camera setup, ventilated front seats, and a power tailgate. This updated generation targets buyers in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Southeast Asian territories.
