The second generation Geely Emgrand L sedan introduced an avant-garde Energy Matrix front grille, Hi-P hybrid powertrain, and a fully digital ecosystem for driver.
The second generation sedan debuted in late 2021 as the Geely Emgrand L with model code FE-5, directly superseding the Emgrand GL. The model introduced a dramatic exterior redesign featuring a massive Energy Matrix front grille, sleek LED headlights, and reshaped aerodynamic bumpers. Engine choices include a 1.4 liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 141 horsepower paired with a CVT, alongside the advanced Emgrand L Hi-P plug-in hybrid variant combining a 1.5 liter turbo engine with an electric motor and 3 speed DHT gearbox. The hybrid powertrain generates a combined 317 horsepower with an electric range up to 100 km. The high efficiency traction battery and hybrid transmission allow zero emission electric driving during daily urban commutes without consuming petrol. The interior boasts a 12.3 inch display, suede trim, air ionizer, and L2 driver aids, marketed internationally as the Livan S6 Pro.
