Unveiled at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, the fourth-generation Audi A4 (chassis code B8) moved to the Modular Longitudinal Platform (MLP). By shifting the front axle forward relative to the engine, Audi achieved a longer wheelbase, improved front-to-rear weight distribution, and vastly expanded cabin space. The B8 gained iconic status for its striking wave-like LED daytime running light signatures within the headlights.

Engine options included modern turbocharged 1.8 TFSI, 2.0 TFSI, 3.0 TFSI, and 3.2 FSI gasoline units alongside efficient 2.0 TDI and 3.0 TDI diesels. The B8 introduced an upgraded quattro system featuring an asymmetric rear-biased 40:60 power split. The lineup comprised the Sedan, Avant wagon, and the rugged A4 allroad quattro with raised ride height and protective body cladding. The model fully reflected the premium status of the automaker and its commitment to technological leadership in its class.
