Unveiled in late 2004, the third-generation Audi A4 (B7) represented a comprehensive evolution of its predecessor. Visually distinguished by Audi's prominent Singleframe front grille, redesigned headlights, and sleek taillamps, the B7 possessed a commanding presence. Structural enhancements, revised suspension geometry, and steering components borrowed from performance models markedly refined its dynamic driving character.

Underneath, the B7 featured advanced gasoline engines incorporating direct injection (including the praised 2.0 TFSI and 3.2 FSI V6) alongside refined Common Rail TDI diesels (2.0, 2.7, and 3.0 liters). Gearbox choices spanned manual, Multitronic CVT, and six-speed Tiptronic automatics. The B7 generation enjoyed strong global sales until 2008, after which its tooling served to create the SEAT Exeo. The model fully reflected the premium status of the automaker and its commitment to technological leadership in its class.
