The Volkswagen ID.Buzz is a retro-styled electric passenger van and commercial cargo van produced since 2022.
The Volkswagen ID.Buzz electric passenger van with body code EB1 launched in March 2022. Inspired by the classic 1950s T1 Microbus, the ID.Buzz pairs iconic two-tone styling with modern EV architecture on the MEB platform. It is manufactured in standard wheelbase (SWB), long wheelbase (LWB) passenger variants, and an ID.Buzz Cargo commercial van.
Power comes from a rear-mounted electric motor producing 204 hp or 286 hp (up to 340 hp on the dual-motor GTX), supplied by 77 kWh or 85 kWh battery packs yielding ranges up to 460 km. The cabin utilizes sustainable animal-free upholstery and offers sliding door accessibility.
