The first generation Toyota Voxy (R60) sports minivan was produced for the Japanese market from 2001 to 2007.
The first-generation Toyota Voxy, designated R60, debuted alongside the Noah in November 2001 as its sports-oriented sister model. The Voxy set itself apart with aggressive front styling featuring split dual-deck headlights, a dark mesh grille, and aerodynamic bumpers. Utilizing the FWD platform with a low floor layout, the Voxy accommodated seven or eight passengers across three versatile seating rows.
Power came from a 2.0-liter 1AZ-FSE direct-injection D-4 four-cylinder engine producing 152 hp. Initially coupled with a 4-speed automatic, a Super CVT-i was introduced during the 2004 facelift alongside revised styling tweaks. Both front-wheel-drive and full-time 4WD configurations were available throughout its product cycle.
