Produced from June 1979 to 1984, the second-generation Subaru Leone (AB sedan, AC hatchback, AF wagon, AM BRAT) featured larger cabin dimensions and improved soundproofing. Under the hood were 1.6-liter EA71 and 1.8-liter EA81 flat-fours, supplemented in 1982 by the turbocharged EA81T producing 95 hp.
