The fourth generation of the flagship SUV debuted in 2017 under the factory code Y400, based on an entirely new frame platform utilizing advanced high-strength steel. The vehicle featured a bold exterior design, a spacious seven-seat cabin, and modern digital infotainment technologies. In 2020, the model underwent a major facelift (code Y450), introducing a redesigned grille, an upgraded 2.2-liter diesel engine producing 202 hp, an 8-speed automatic gearbox, and an advanced ADAS active safety suite. Following the corporate transition to KG Group, the vehicle is manufactured under the KG Mobility (KGM) brand name, being sold in South Korea, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America.
