Rolls-Royce Silver Spur IV photos

The final generation of the Rolls-Royce Silver Spur (often referred to as the Silver Spur IV or New Silver Spur) was manufactured from late 1995 until 2000. It showcased comprehensive exterior styling revisions, most notably fully integrated body-colored composite bumpers, redesigned aerodynamic wing mirrors, and revised C-pillar quarter lights. Mechanically, the naturally aspirated 6.75-litre V8 engine featured updated Zytek engine management, coupled with the proven 4-speed GM 4L80E automatic transmission. From 1996 onwards, turbocharged iterations of the 6.75-litre V8 were introduced on the Silver Spur Turbo and extended-wheelbase Park Ward derivatives, delivering over 300 horsepower. Although standard production gave way to the Silver Seraph in 1998, bespoke Park Ward limousine variants of the Silver Spur continued production through 2000. It represented the historic conclusion of the traditional hand-built SZ chassis series at the Crewe factory.
