The fourth-generation Nissan Elgrand marks the nameplate's first major ground-up redesign since its debut in 1997. Retaining its traditional five-door luxury minivan form factor, the vehicle features an updated body structure engineered for superior rigidity and cabin quietness. Visually, the model introduces a futuristic exterior characterized by full-width front and rear LED light bars, a bold radiator grille featuring an intricate lattice of square elements, custom alloy wheels, and an available two-tone color scheme with a rose gold lower section.

The most significant engineering shift is the total departure from the outgoing generation's naturally aspirated four-cylinder and V6 engines in favor of an electrified powertrain. The new Elgrand is powered exclusively by Nissan's e-Power series hybrid system. Under this setup, a 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine operates solely as an onboard electricity generator, feeding two electric drive motors that power all four wheels through Nissan's e-4ORCE electronic all-wheel-drive technology.

Compared to the previous E52 generation, the cabin has been comprehensively overhauled to deliver top-tier executive luxury and modern connectivity. The cockpit features dual 14.3-inch displays, a 22-speaker Bose sound system with headrest-mounted speakers, Kumiko wood trim, and 64-color ambient lighting. Seating options include an eight-passenger layout with a second-row bench or an ultra-luxurious configuration featuring second-row Zero Gravity captain's chairs with leg-rest recliners and a front passenger ottoman, accompanied by rear-seat entertainment monitors.
