The sixth generation of Isuzu Elf light commercial trucks was introduced in late 2006 and manufactured through 2023. The vehicle was built on an upgraded ladder-frame platform with various cab options, including narrow, wide, and double crew cabs. The engine lineup featured economical 3.0-liter diesel engines (4JJ1 series) and more powerful 5.2-liter units (4HK1 series), paired with manual transmissions or proprietary automated manual transmissions (Smoother). Key improvements over the predecessor included enhanced cab aerodynamics, increased passive safety, and compliance with stricter environmental standards.
