The first generation Geely Vision marked the brand's historic milestone commercial sedan equipped with China's independently engineered CVVT petrol engine.

The first generation Geely Vision sedan, originally designated as the Geely FC with model code FC1, was produced from 2006 until 2013. The four door compact sedan was built on a front wheel drive platform and represented a significant technical achievement for Geely as it featured China's first domestically designed engine with CVVT variable valve timing. Powertrain options consisted of 1.5 liter and 1.8 liter naturally aspirated four cylinder petrol engines producing 106 and 139 horsepower respectively, paired with a five speed manual gearbox. The exterior styling presented clean sedan proportions with chrome radiator trim and large halogen headlights. Inside, equipment included manual air conditioning, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and an integrated audio unit, achieving steady sales in domestic Chinese and various export markets. The body structure was engineered with reinforced crumple zones to deliver improved passive safety protection for all vehicle occupants.
