The G11 (standard) and G12 (long-wheelbase) arrived in 2015 featuring Carbon Core construction—a hybrid chassis structure using carbon-fiber reinforced plastic to shed weight and lower the center of gravity. It was a masterpiece of structural engineering dressed in sleek luxury trim.

The interior introduced Display Key remote parking, gesture control infotainment, and massage-equipped Executive Lounge seating. Powerful six-cylinder, V8, and massive 6.6-liter M760Li V12 powertrains ensured performance matched the opulent cabin environment, setting high marks for refinement.
