Introduced in 2018, the fifth-generation Audi A6 (C8) adopted Audi's modern digital design language. The exterior boasted a wider Singleframe grille, sculpted side contours homage to quattro heritage, and HD Matrix LED headlight technology. The family offered Sedan, Avant wagon, and rugged allroad quattro configurations.
Inside, the C8 replaced traditional buttons with the MMI touch response architecture featuring dual haptic-feedback touchscreens (10.1-inch upper and 8.6-inch lower). Powertrains included mild-hybrid (MHEV) TFSI and TDI engines across 2.0 and 3.0-liter displacement choices, plus TFSI e plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models. Optional dynamic all-wheel steering enhanced both tight-space agility and high-speed stability.
