Production Variant of Toyota C-HR Crossover will Happen
Toyota Motor Europe has stated that the C-HR crossover will be introduced at this year’s Motor Show in Geneva.
The vehicle’s production variant will be gathered together at Toyota Motor Manufacturing located in Sakarya (Turkey). The car will have a new-generation hybrid powerplant produced at the automaker’s Motor Manufacturing British factory in Deeside (Wales).
Toyota Europe has not confirmed the release if the C-HR would aim at America. However, the automaker said that the “production destination for the cars will be bigger in Europe and outside of it.” Individual export countries are under consideration at the moment.
The C-HR concept was showcased at last year’s Auto Show in Los Angeles as a scion model. Everybody expected it to outcome as a Scion when it appeared in America. Though, the automaker cut the Scion brand off short. This means that the vehicle will be offered with a Toyota badge.
