Ford will switch entirely to electric cars

By 2030, American company Ford will sell only electric-powered models in Europe.

All current cars of the brand with internal combustion engines will not be sold in Europe by that time.

According to a press-service Ford, by 2026, we should expect to see electric versions of the most famous models, which definitely will include Focus and Fiesta. With time all Ford models will get electric motors.

The last cars, which will be equipped with electric units in Europe, are commercial models. For them, the innovation will take place in 2030.

We shall remind you that Ford wants to improve its enterprise in Cologne, Germany, producing electric cars. Modernization of production will require investments of around one billion dollars. The local plant will make electric cars from 2023.
