An electric car will come to replace the Audi R8
Audi wants to finish with the production of R8 coupe, which first appeared in 2006.
A new generation of a supercar with an 'aspirated' will not appear, and a hypercar with 3 electric motors will come to replace it.
The current Audi R8 will end its existence in 2021 or 2022. Rumor has it that brand engineers create a completely new model. Its name is e-tron GTR. The car will be considered a kind of heir to the Audi R8 e-tron.
The power plant with 3 electric motors will make 650-strong, and the drive goes on both axes. Additionally, the Audi R8 e-tron GTR will acquire 95 kW/h batteries with a power reserve of 480 km and a wireless charging mechanism. Perhaps this will be the only way to recharge the electric car.
