Hyundai Santa Fe will be the first with a fingerprint scanner

Hyundai will build fingerprint scanners in the door handles and the motor start button.

First, the new technology will receive in the latest Santa Fe. At first, this is expected in the company's cars for China, and then for the rest of the automotive markets.

The essence of the technology is as follows: putting a finger to the scanner, car owners unlock the doors and starts engine work. Seats with exterior mirrors will automatically adjust.

The sensor is placed on the glass panel, so hacking or taking a copy of the fingerprints is almost impossible.
