Audi started the serial assembly of first electric SUV

Audi starts the serial production of the first commercial electric SUV - E-Tron model.

The production of new items was made at the company's plant in Brussels. Officially, the car debuts on September 17 at a special event in the American San Francisco.

E-Tron joins the model line between Q5 and Q7. The main competitors are Jaguar I-Pace and Tesla Model X.

Serial Audi E-Tron will provide 2 electric motors for 360 hp. power. Activating the sports mode, for a short time, the power will increase to 400 hp. The cross will take a "hundred" in 6 seconds, the maximum speed limit is at the rate of 200 km/h. The power for the motors will come from 95 kWh batteries, allowing a maximum of 400 km of charge recharges.
