Audi e-tron photos

The Audi e-tron arrived in 2018 in its GE generation as the first mass-production fully electric model from the German manufacturer. Built as a full-size five-door SUV, it was engineered on a modified platform designed to house a high-voltage traction battery pack low in the floor structure between the axles.

The drivetrain consists of dual asynchronous electric motors mounted on the front and rear axles to deliver an electric quattro all-wheel-drive system. The electric motors transmit torque via single-speed gearboxes. Standard equipment includes adaptive air suspension, an integrated brake recuperation system, and optional virtual exterior camera mirrors.

Subsequent updates focused on refining thermal battery management, enhancing inverter and drive control software to improve efficiency, and subtle styling revisions across the front bumper and LED lighting elements.
