Audi has announced an updated R8 supercar

Audi announced the imminent debut of the second-generation restyled R8 supercar.

The teaser coupe appeared on Twitter in the company's sports division.

The image makes it clear that the supercar will provide an improved front bumper with modified air intakes, plus other headlights. Another Coupe will have another form of side 'skirts' with a modified diffuser at the back.

Nothing is known for the engine compartment. Perhaps, the updated supercar will please a stronger variation, which is prepared by the upgraded engine from the platform car Lamborghini Huracan Performance. The Italians have a 5.2-liter 640-horsepower engine with 600 Nm of peak torque.
