Shelby GT350 Mustang will have Price starting from $52,995

The prices of the last Ford’s performance vehicle are known now.

Shelby GT350 Mustang from Ford was presented on the last week at the Auto Show in Los Angeles. The car is equipped with a 5.2-litre flat-plane bent shaft eight-cylinder engine. It is promised that the car will have the loftiest track performance for the brand. The automaker did not state the pricing at the start-up, though, HorsepowerKings.com states that some Ford’s source hinted at $52,995 for the car.

At the time of writing the contact man of Ford was not available for commenting.

It is also stated in the report that the technology package will be priced at $2,995 and that there will be a “track” set. Besides, a GT350 R variant is expected to be developed. It will stand higher than the other vehicles in the line-up. It will be a more track-focused car with innovated braking system, stickier tyres and aerodynamic changes. If to believe the rumour, the vehicle will be presented in January at the Detroit North American International Auto Show.

The basic form of the car will gain the most powerful naturally aspirated eight-cylinder powertrain ever. It will produce a minimum of 500 hp and torque of 400 lb-ft. The flat-plane bent shaft will give an opportunity to rev more than a cross-plane bent for the powertrain and in such a way open the powertrain for an enhanced redline.
