Prices on Audi RS3 Sportback start from 56,600 euro
A WCF reader has given the information concerning Audi’s accidental announcement of the RS3 Sportback’s starting price (€56,600).
Nearly a week ago the automaker disclosed the looking forward to RS3 Sportback. Now, thankfully to a glitch on the company’s official German site, the information about the hot hatchback’s price has leaked into the web. It is said to start from €56,600. Therefore, it is much more expensive than the S3 Sportback having starting price at €40,400. Though, the money is worth spending, because the model is a "world-beating vehicle" with a "class-conquering powertrain" as Audi describes.
The vehicle’s soul and heart is placed in the iconic 2.5-litre turbocharged V5 gasoline powertrain. It is able to produce 367 hp (or 270 kW) and torque of 342 lb-ft (or 465 Nm). All the power is connected to a quattro all-wheel drive system through an S tronic transmission of seven speeds. This helps the model to reach 62 mph (or 100 km/h) in 4.3 seconds and have a limited 155 mph (or 250 km/h) top speed. For some extra money willing can get 174 mph (or 280 km/h).
The Audi RS3 Sportback is planned to start its sales in the first part of the next year and the deliveries will start in summer.
