Bentley Sets New Records with 2014 GT Speed Coupe

The visitors of motor show in Geneva were presented with two 2014 Bentley GT Speed modifications – coupe and convertible.

The revised models feature a one-colour scheme with even such elements as side skirts and front splitter painted to match the body. Lamps on both bumpers were also given a colour. Special “Speed” logo adorns the front fenders. Suspension was reengineered to become lower and reinforced, and the wheels solution is dark alloy 21 inches in diameter.

Not much was touched within the cab, except for non-mandatory adding of contrasting seams to trim the diamond quilting of door panels and seats.

Engineers of GT Speed motors tried their best, but the outcome is not very impressive in terms of innovations: 12 cylinders and 6.0-litre displacement making 635 hp and torque of 605 lb-ft with minimal increases in power figures. Acceleration indexes were not provided by the brand, however, maximum speeds are known: coupe boasts 206 mph and the convertible delivers 203 mph.
