Final Bow for Bentley's W-12 Engine with Exclusive Mulliner Convertible

End of an Era for Bentley's W-12

The renowned W-12 engine from Bentley is retiring after more than two decades and over 100,000 units produced. However, its departure is celebrated with flair rather than fading away quietly.

Unveiled during Monterey Car Week, the Batur Convertible by Mulliner showcases a sophisticated evolution of Bentley's powerful open-top design.

Performance and Design

Equipped with the signature twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter W-12 engine, the Batur Convertible delivers an impressive 740 horsepower, matching the performance of its standard convertible and coupe counterparts. This model features a bespoke design crafted in partnership with one of Bentley's exclusive clientele.

Exterior Aesthetics

The vehicle sports an Opalite finish complemented by Beluga and Mandarin highlights, including a prominent central racing stripe flanked by two smaller lines. The exterior design exudes elegance and dynamism, making it a standout model.

Luxurious Interior

Inside, the Batur Convertible boasts a unique 'one plus one' layout. The driver's side is adorned with Beluga black leather and Alcantara, while the passenger side features Linen white upholstery with Alcantara accents. This dual-tone scheme enhances the car's luxurious ambiance.

Exclusive Luggage Features

The rear compartment includes custom Beluga black and Mandarin orange accents, along with a specially designed two-piece luggage set. Each piece matches the interior, offering practical elegance tailored to the vehicle's bespoke nature.

Debut and Legacy

The Batur Convertible by Mulliner will make its first appearance in California next week during Monterey Car Week. Bentley has not disclosed the price for this exclusive “true one-off” model, which represents one of the final creations featuring the iconic 12-cylinder engine.

Its unique status and the end of the W-12 era render the Batur Convertible exceptionally valuable to enthusiasts and collectors alike.
