The first-generation Volkswagen ID. Aura T6 is a mid-size electric crossover measuring 4,811 mm in length, built upon the CEA platform developed with Xpeng. The vehicle is powered by a rear-mounted electric motor producing 170 kW (228 hp), capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds. Energy is supplied by lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery packs with capacities of either 59.9 kWh or 77.5 kWh, providing a CLTC driving range between 540 and 660 kilometers on a single charge.

The cabin is equipped with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch floating touchscreen, and a 25.8-inch augmented reality head-up display. Cargo capacity is rated at 576 liters, expandable to 1,796 liters with folded rear seats, complemented by a 90-liter front trunk. The autonomous driving suite utilizes LiDAR and a Horizon Robotics Journey 6H processor delivering 420 TOPS for highway navigation assistance.
