Suzuki Jimny IV (JB64/JB74) photos

Launched in Japan in July 2018, the fourth-generation Suzuki Jimny (chassis JB64 for domestic kei class, JB74 for global markets as the Jimny/Jimny Sierra) embraced iconic retro styling featuring flat body panels, round LED headlights, and a 5-slot vertical grille. Built on a heavily reinforced ladder-frame chassis with cross-members and an X-member, it preserves front and rear solid live axles and Suzuki's AllGrip Pro part-time 4WD system with a manual transfer lever. A 5-door long-wheelbase body variant was unveiled in 2023.

Powering domestic Japanese models is a 660 cc R06A three-cylinder turbo engine (64 hp), while global versions utilize a 1.5-liter K15B naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine generating 102 hp. Power is transmitted through either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. Off-road electronics feature brake-based limited-slip differential traction control (Brake LSD), Hill Hold Control, Hill Descent Control, and the DSBS safety suite.
