The sixth-generation Micra is an electric hatchback on the Renault 5 E-Tech platform.
The sixth-generation Nissan Micra (K15) is a fully electric hatchback, revealed in June 2025 and put into production in August. It is built on the AmpR Small platform shared with the Renault 5 E-Tech and is produced in France by Renault's Ampere division. Its main market is Europe.
The powertrain comes from Renault: a front-mounted electric motor rated at 122 or 150 PS and a 40 or 52 kWh battery. The larger battery gives a WLTP range of about 400 km, with DC fast charging and vehicle-to-grid capability.
Nissan designed its own body: round headlamps with ring-shaped daytime running lights, different bumpers and tail lamps, and two-tone paint. The cabin has two 10-inch screens with built-in Google services, Bose audio on upper trims and a full set of driver aids. The new Micra brought the name back after a break following the end of the petrol K14.
