The seventh-generation Lexus ES sedan (chassis code XZ10) unveiled at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition in April 2018 for the 2019 model year. Built on the TNGA GA-K platform, it offered a lower center of gravity, increased structural rigidity, and sharper steering response. For the first time, an F Sport package was added, bringing Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS), 19-inch wheels, and aggressive styling accents. Cabin features featured a 12.3-inch infotainment display, digital instrument cluster, and Mark Levinson PurePlay audio.
Engine offerings ranged from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder, a 2.5-liter four-cylinder on ES 250, and a 302-hp 3.5-liter V6 on ES 350, alongside the ES 300h self-charging hybrid generating 215 horsepower. The ES 250 AWD introduced all-wheel drive for improved traction in cold climates. A 2021 refresh added touch capability to the central screen, updated front grille detailing, BladeScan Adaptive High-beam headlights, and Lexus Safety System+ 2.5.
