The third-generation Hyundai Verna (RB platform) premiered at the 2010 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition. Adopting Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture design direction, the RB featured sharp character lines and sweeping headlamps. It was manufactured and marketed extensively as a notchback sedan and Verna RV hatchback in China and India.

Powertrains included Gamma family 1.4-liter (107 hp) and 1.6-liter (123 hp) gasoline engines. A 2014 facelift updated six-speed gearboxes and projector-style headlights with LED DRL strips.
