The fifth-generation Hyundai Verna (BN7 chassis) premiered in March 2023 in India. Incorporating Hyundai's latest Sensuous Sportiness aesthetics, the sedan features a full-width Horizon Light LED strip and geometric side body cuts. An extended 2,670 mm wheelbase expands rear passenger legroom.
Power comes from a 1.5-liter Smartstream MPi (115 hp) or a 1.5-liter turbocharged T-GDI petrol engine delivering 160 hp. Gearboxes include a 6-speed manual, IVT automatic, and 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Fifth-generation Hyundai Tucson production to launch in Kazakhstan with a $67 million investment
Astana Motors and Hyundai Motor Company have signed an agreement to localize production of the fifth-generation Hyundai Tucson at the plant in Almaty. Complete knockdown assembly including welding and body painting is scheduled to start in December 2027.
