Hyundai Tucson II (LM) gallery (2009–2015)
The second-generation Hyundai Tucson (LM) was produced from 2009 to 2015 (badged as ix35 in Europe), embracing Fluidic Sculpture styling.
The second-generation Hyundai Tucson (LM chassis) premiered at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2009. Styled at Hyundai's European design center under the Fluidic Sculpture banner, the vehicle featured a bold hexagonal front grille and sweeping side character creases. In Europe and select global markets, it was marketed as the Hyundai ix35.
Powertrains included 1.6-liter GDI, 2.0-liter Nu/Theta II, and 2.4-liter Theta II gasoline engines, alongside 1.7-liter and 2.0-liter CRDi turbodiesels delivering up to 184 hp. Gearbox choices included six-speed manuals and six-speed automatics. A 2013 mid-cycle update brought LED headlamp accents and upgraded suspension dampers.
