The third-generation Hyundai i20 (BC3) was introduced in 2020 showcasing Sensuous Sportiness design and 48-volt mild-hybrid powertrains.
The third-generation Hyundai i20 (BC3 chassis) debuted in early 2020, inaugurating the Sensuous Sportiness design language for Hyundai's European lineup. The model featured a 24 mm lower roofline, a 30 mm wider stance, and a 10 mm longer wheelbase. Inside, the cabin showcased premium technology including dual 10.25-inch digital displays and an available Bose sound system.
Powertrain options consist of an entry-level 1.2-liter MPi four-cylinder (84 hp) and a 1.0-liter T-GDI turbocharged three-cylinder engine (100 hp or 120 hp), available with a 48-volt mild-hybrid powertrain and an Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT). A 2023 facelift updated the front bumper pattern, rear light cluster graphics, and standard interior equipment.
